History of GCT

Sudhan Educational, Confrerence conceived an Idea
to establish a first Polytechnic Institute at Rawalakot with name of a famous man of the Tribe Khan Muhammad Khan(Khan Sahib) for imparting Technical Education to new generation of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

Introduction

Govt. College of Technology is first and only one Technical College in whole Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Which is imparting the technical education to students of 3 years Associate Engineering level in Civil Engineering and Information and Communication Technology Engineering.

- The Laptop & Diplomas Distribution Ceremony with the Collabration of HEC, at GCT Rawalakot AJK, The Minister Noreen Arif,Director Finance TEVTA, Principal, V.Principal, Sattaf,Students and Guests Participated in the ceremony on 21-07-2018.

- GCT Rawalakot AJK has developed a New Curriculum of Information & Communication Technology which has been launched by Punjab Board of Technical Education, Lahore
- Well Equiped, ICT-Lab with Latest Computers Core i5 6th Geneation, Modern LED's and routers.
- The Competency Based Training is also being started in GCT, Rawalakot.
